Personal project with focus on how BMW can breathe new life into their iconic 3-box architecture legacy in the era of electric cars that demand unparalleled aerodynamic performance. Through this undertaking, my primary aim was to push the boundaries of my skills in NURBS modeling, challenging myself to create something truly exceptional.
CONCEPT
I achieved the desired outcome by initially dividing the necessary compartments into three distinct pieces, seamlessly blending them together in the most straightforward manner possible. The addition of translucent side windows disrupts the traditional DLO graphics, allowing the glass area to showcase the iconic 3-box architecture while maintaining an impressively aerodynamic mono-volume shape.
